Welcome to Madeline Island

A Waterfront Cabin on Lake Superior

Overview

Summer of 2025

We’re excited to offer North Channel Cabin at a discounted rate this year as we put the finishing touches on the property. The cabin is fully complete and ready for a comfortable stay, with just a few small trim details and some exterior landscaping still being finalized. It’s a great chance to enjoy the cabin early and experience everything it has to offer while we finish making it even better. We appreciate your understanding and would love to host you. Please feel free to reach out with any questions — we’re happy to help!

Getting Here

To reach Madeline Island, Wisconsin, you’ll take the Madeline Island Ferry from Bayfield. The ferry operates year-round (weather permitting) and offers a quick, scenic ride across Lake Superior to LaPointe. Vehicles, bicycles, and walk-on passengers are welcome. Simply drive aboard if you'd like your vehicle with you. Check the ferry schedule online or at the dock, as times vary by season. The trip takes about 20 minutes and provides stunning views of the lake and surrounding islands.

Location

North Channel Cabin is located near the intersection of Benjamin Boulevard and North Shore Road. It is about 6 miles from the Town of LaPointe and Ferry Dock.  It is located about 1 mile from the Big Bay Beach and 3 miles from Big Bay State Park main entrance.

The cabin sits high on a waterfront bluff on 3.5 acres of private wooded land with about 400' of water frontage.
